What this site keeps, and why.
- Who runs this site. I do. I'm Sarah Kiselycznyk, and messages from the form come to me.
- When you send a message. The contact form asks for your name, email address and message. They're stored in a private database (Supabase) so I can reply, and a copy is emailed to me (through Resend). Please don't send medical records through the form. Nothing you write in the form is sent to Google Analytics, and I don't sell or share what you send. If we don't end up working together, I delete your message after 12 months.
- If you allow analytics. I use Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and whether a message was sent, never what it said. It sets cookies in your browser and only runs after you choose “Yes, that's fine”. Advertising features are switched off, and Google keeps this data for two months.
- If you say no. Nothing is loaded from Google and no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is remembered in this browser so you aren't asked again.
- Changing your mind. Use “Analytics choice” at the bottom of any page. If you switch analytics off, its cookies are removed.
- Hosting. The site runs on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs, such as the time of a request and the page asked for, to keep the site working and secure.
- Questions. Email me at sarah@sourcelogic.io. If you've sent a message and want it deleted sooner, ask and I'll remove it.
