AFTER VISIT SUMMARY · 09/03/2026 · Medical Oncology — new patient consultation
Reason for visit: Newly diagnosed right breast cancer; treatment planning.
Diagnoses discussed:
- Malignant neoplasm of right breast, invasive carcinoma of no special type, grade 2, estrogen receptor positive, progesterone receptor positive, HER2 negative (addendum 09/02/2026). Clinically node-negative on ultrasound. Clinical stage to be confirmed at surgery.
Plan discussed today:
- A surgery-first approach is recommended. Return to Breast Surgery to schedule.
- Recommendations for treatment after surgery (adjuvant therapy) will be made once the final surgical pathology, including lymph node results, is available.
- Anti-estrogen (endocrine) therapy is anticipated as part of treatment given the hormone receptor results. Details to follow surgery.
- Additional treatment recommendations will follow final pathology.
- No imaging of the rest of the body is recommended at this time.

- Labs today: CBC with differential, comprehensive metabolic panel. (Results)
